lyrics
Do you feel like we feel
Like you have no more certainties
Just too many questions and fears
Now repeat with me
Can you hear this damn loud silence
All the anger in a single breath
And the need to scream louder
Again and again
You’re about to give in
Nothing left to believe in
We feel like, like we’re drowning
In silence
This feeling we know so well
Just existing day by day
We dream the life of someone else
Condemned to hate the things we have
How loud so loud can be this silence
So much anger in a single breath
And the need to scream louder
Again and again and again
We’re about to give in
Nothing left to believe in
We feel like, like we’re drowning
In silence
We’re about to let go
Nothing left, nowhere to go
We feel like, like we’re drowning
In silence
Do you feel like we feel
Nothing left to believe in
Do you feel like we feel
We’re drowning
Do you feel like we feel
Nothing left to believe in
Do you feel like we feel
We’re drowning
We’re about to give in
Nothing left to believe in
We feel like, like we’re drowning
In silence
We’re about to let go
Nothing left, nowhere to go
We feel like, like we’re drowning
In silence
ELETTRA STORM is a new act of the Italian power metal scene, female fronted in this case with supporting male vocals here and there. The songs are quite lively, although the drums whip through the album mainly in the same way. Some songs like the opener "Higher than the Stars", "Origin of Dreams" or "Powerlords" are really catchy, of course with symphonic elements and pathos, but the second half of the album also contains some fillers. Anyway a solid debut by a band with potential. H.L.
As I’ve matured I have learned to appreciate power metal. The sheer symphonic showmanship of the tracks I heard is totally off the charts. TheBreakfastClub
These remastered EPs are complicated vessels for understanding Giant Drag and its impetuous frontwoman, Annie Hardy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 9, 2021
The opener caught me straight away! Instrumentally great, not overloaded with bombast, and Rebecca´s operatic and easily understandable voice makes the listening pleasure perfect. An insider tip for everyone who loves the older Nightwish albums! Ädäm
