When you are looking for first class female fronted or gothic metal somewhere between Nightwish and Evanescence you should not miss "Spellbound". ELVELLON's symphonic style is maybe not original but the songs are atmospheric, catchy and finished with just the right portion of pathos. A lot of gothic metal bands try to create emotional impact but only few are so talented to create such a dreamlike and inspiring atmosphere. This is pretty music with pretty vocals. The guitars are pretty too. I like it. The album art fascinates me. I enjoyed my first listening of the entire album. I must come back for more. This could potentially become a favorite of mine. I listen to a lot of music. They are really good sounding. They could be touring the world!
